1. Relove Stockmann

Relove is one of the best second-hand boutiques in Helsinki. It combines a café and a selection of vintage and second-hand clothing. 

It emphasizes sustainability, offering stylish and eco-friendly fashion choices. 

After scouring the racks for unique pieces, you can relax in the café, enjoying organic snacks and coffee.

Relove has three locations in Helsinki (Stockmann, Fredrikinkatu, and Töölö), and a store at the Helsinki airport near gates 21-22.

2. Beyond Retro

Established in 2002, Beyond Retro has carved out a niche as a pioneer in vintage fashion.

  • If I had to choose only one street in Helsinki as the center of second-hand shopping, it would undoubtedly be Fredrikinkatu.
  • This street is truly a thrift store hub with impressive shops.

1. UFF

UFF has successfully established itself as a trendsetter in vintage and 90s fashion, particularly popular among the youth for its vintage styles. 

On platforms like TikTok, showcasing UFF finds has become a unique trend, highlighting the store’s impact on the local fashion scene. 

In Helsinki, UFF’s garments are often more common among young people than newly purchased clothes, thanks to their appealing quality-price ratio. 

The store refreshes its selection approximately 6-7 times a year. The most sought-after items sell out quickly on the first day of new arrivals.

2. PrePorte

Appreciated for its quality, Pre Porte is a second-hand store in Helsinki that gets new trendy items weekly. 

The store offers designer products such as bags, shoes, and accessories.

3. Birka

Birka represents a new era of self-service flea markets focusing on high-quality items. 

Shoppers can find well-maintained products, including Marimekko pieces and a selection of antique items. 

The prices are on the higher side, a common problem in shops where sellers price their products themselves. We tend to overvalue our own products, even if they are unnecessary.

4. FTA Vintage

5. GeZup

Offers carefully selected, high-quality clothing from well-known brands, ranging from the 70s to modern times.

6. Hetzukoto

Founded by a Thai architect and designer, this store is dedicated to second-hand branded accessories.

7. UFF

UFF also has a store on Bulevardi, close to their store on Fredrikinkatu.

Relove has two stores close to each other, one inside the Stockmann Department Store and the other in Fredrikinkatu.

3. Flea Second Hand

2. UFF

UFF has several locations, and one of these is conveniently situated in Töölö, right across from Relove beside the small Töölö Market Square.

The Töölötori branch of UFF is known for its selection of vintage and trendy clothing, making it a popular spot for fashion enthusiasts in the area.

3. Penny Lane

Penny Lane is a boutique that takes you back in time with its vintage and retro clothing, accessories, and home decor selection. 

It’s like walking into a colorful past on your vintage exploration.

4. Kaartinen & Kuusela
